Healing Hike for Community Health Workers

Join us for an intetional, guided hike facilitated by Crew Wellness LLC, and Curvy X Nature. We trek a little over two miles, meditate and connect on the trail. Following the hike, a light lunch and swag bag will be given to attendees. CHWs and CHW Instructors will earn credit hours for participating. 

Event Theme: Self-Care For the Health Care Worker

CEU: 1-hour DSHS-certified CE for CHWs & CHW Instructors & 1-hour NON certified  Community Health Workers will earn 1 DSHS state approved CEU for participating.    

Be sure to...

1. Dress for the weather and comfort
2. Wear sunscreen and insect repellent
3. Wear durable athletic shoes or boots with good traction
4. Eat a light but filling breakfast (combo of protein and carbs)
5. Bring a water bottle (with water in it...at least 24 oz)
6. Bring your best self!
7. Optional: Shades, towel, walking stick or hiking poles, headphones

Arrival & Parking

We will begin promptly at 10:00 am. Arrive early and give yourself time to park. This park is VERY busy on Saturdays. You can park in the lot but be careful not to park in the neighborhood. It's a good idea to allow at least 20 minutes for you to park and walk to the meet up spot. We will meet inside the main entrance, near the picnic tables located by the restrooms.
